Full course description
This year-long professional development program equips faculty with advanced skills in integrating Generative AI into teaching and learning practices. Through five intensive online sessions and hands-on workshops, participants will explore AI applications in course design, lesson planning, rubric development, student feedback, and educational bot creation. Fellows will develop expertise in both AI pedagogy and workshop facilitation, culminating in the delivery of two peer workshops on their home campus. The program combines structured learning with practical application, providing ongoing support through bi-monthly check-ins and collaborative networking with USM colleagues. Participants receive comprehensive training materials, facilitation resources, a $1,500 professional development stipend, and a microcredential to demonstrate competency.
