Full course description
In this in person workshop, we introduce and practice computational thinking skills. Then, we will explore how to align computational thinking skills with reading comprehension strategies that work. We will examine how effective integration relies on managing students' cognitive load. We will explore integrated sample lessons and best practices. Finally, we will reflect on and repack our new learning to devise an approach to incorporating computational thinking within ELA instruction. 0.5 CPD credits.
